Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 11
On the 11th Day of Quarantine here in Santa Cruz, I continued the momentum from yesterday and was ready to work. I made Danny coffee in bed again. Got up early, did my meditation, my mindful practice, my breathing, and also I’ve been reading my California economic trends book to prepare for my next brokers exam.
I was also able to participate in a virtual meeting this morning to talk about, to learn about, and discuss how we can better serve our clients in the real estate industry during this coronavirus pandemic. So stay tuned, I’ll share with you what I learn. In the meantime, my goal is to be supportive, entertaining, and informative community leader right now on social media. And be able to give back and support my Santa Cruz county as much as possible during this time.
Here’s another thing that I’m super excited about that I get to do while I’m working from home and staying at home, that I haven’t yet had time to do, but I’m filing my fictitious business name with the Santa Cruz County Clerk, and I’m super excited about it, because it makes sense and it makes me feel professional and like a business owner, which I am. Woo hoo! Fox Realty Group!
It was Thursday, and Thursday means Tour Day in Santa Cruz county. Meaning, houses are normally open for Realtors, and the public, but Tour Day has been canceled until further notice, in order to abide by the Shelter in Place Ordinance. So, I’m gonna take you all on a virtual tour and give you some “Distance Real Estate“. I will stay in my car and show you what’s out there. I can’t wait to show you 159 Via Medici, it’s a coming soon listing that will be on the market shortly in the Seascape area. It’s a 4 bed room 2 bath home, with about 2,000 sq.ft., located in a nice neighborhood, super close to Seascape Resort and the beach!

Well, that was a super long day at work. I worked from 5:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Let’s see, yep, it’s 6:01, and I think I’m ready to sign off and go have some family time. Getting dressed and getting ready for work definitely made today more productive. I think that started my day off right. Also, I’m still actively trying to do something for my mind, my body, my soul, and somebody else everyday. It is making the Shelter in Place Ordinance more bearable for me.

Breakfast time. One thing about quarantine is that we really plow through our food. Like, we really aren’t going out to eat at all. So, let me see what I can make with what I have left here that’s gluten free. I mean, maybe it’s just not gonna be gluten free. I don’t know, geez Louise. What are you guys cooking at home?
The kinda cool thing about working from home is that I just sweated and worked out in my gym, and now I am supposed to get on a call. Normally this would be an in-person appointment, but we’re gonna do it not face to face, which means that I am still all super sweaty, and I’m just gonna show up to my appointment like this. So that’s kinda cool, on the bright side of things.
