Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16

Day 16 of the Shelter in Place Ordinance here in Santa Cruz was filled with lots of work and play. As far as working from home is going, I feel like I am starting to get the hang of it. I found that mapping out my day by the hour and working in little chunks, really helped me stay focused. What are methods that you are using to stay focused while working from home?

The day also consisted of feeling very thankful for my family. My husband, Danny, not only bought me some more hand sanitizer, but also cooked a gorgeous meal. He made roasted chicken, cheese grits, and broccoli. And I’ve been loving all this time spent with my daughter, Ellia. I had so much fun getting outside and playing basket ball with her. Of course, all this time spent with family at home is really awesome, but I’ve also noticed that, during this quarantine, it’s the little things that just get to you, eventually. And I feel bad that we’ve had little tiffs every now and then. How are all you parents out there staying patient with your children during this time?

Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16Also, I got to do a distance virtual showing of 4485 Hilltop in Soquel, California. It’s a three bedroom, two bath home. This property could use a little bit of sweat equity, but hey, we’re all in shelter in place, so what better time to put your sweat equity and make this home yours and more valuable? There’s also other properties in the neighborhood that are in either higher or lower tiers of the market, so if this is not in your budget or you want something that’s already done, let me know and I’ll send you more information.

If you are within the at-risk population, and are in need of essentials during this time, please feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to bring food and supplies to your doorstep. If you are a Santa Cruz business owner, please let me know how the community can support you during this time. I’d love to come by, film, and promote you on social media.

Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 15If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.

With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.

If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!

Workspace is getting so messy. I’m gonna have to clear somehow. Okay, what were you just saying, Ellia? Like a queen, or princess that you are. Or beast. What were you doing? I’m hot. Look at what my gracious husband bought for me today. Hand sanitizer and spray. COVID Killer. Such a sweet man. And he just made dinner for his gorgeous family. Oh, my god. I’m so hungry. I need to have something to drink, too. What’d you make, Danny? Roasted chicken. Dang, that is gorgeous. And cheese grits. Oh, my gosh! I was just saying that it’s time for me to get this back this– For you. For you. Broccoli. Oh, I’m just eating the broccoli. That’s all you get. I only get the broccoli? That’s all you get. I can eat the chicken and potatoes. That looks good.

Good! This is game point for Ellia. Okay. Oh, my god. No! No! Yeah! Yes! I won. She did. It’s true. She beat me fair and square.

Mother of the year. Ellia was just doing her hip hop dance class with her friends and the Zoom kicked them out, and then she was asking to have the code again, which I was yelling at her, but she wasn’t coming to me and I was sitting in here, working, so then I was yelling to her and she was not hearing me and she was getting frustrated and I was then yelling at her, and then she started crying and I feel terrible, but she’s back in the Zoom hip hop and sounds like she’s happy and laughing. This quarantine is hard when you’re a parent. I think it’s hard for everybody. It’s like the little things that just get to you, eventually.

All right, I hope you guys are having a great day. Hi, there. We are at 4485 Hilltop. We are doing a distance virtual showing of this property right here in Soquel. It’s a three bedroom, two bath home. It could use a little sweat equity, but hey, we’re all in shelter in place, so what better time to put your sweat equity and make this home yours and more valuable? There’s also other properties in the neighborhood that are in either higher or lower tiers of the market, so if this is not in your budget or you want something that’s already done, let me know and I’ll send you more information. 4485 Hilltop, right here in Soquel.

I did pretty darn well staying on track. I think chunking out and making my day broken down by hours of what I wanna get done was a super successful way to time block, so I’m gonna keep doing that tomorrow, as well. It is almost six o’clock. I was gonna work until five and then hang out with my family, but I have one more thing that I have to get done that’s a logistical thing, and then I’m gonna go play b-ball with my girl. What are you guys doing? How you doing? Are you surviving?Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16,Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16, Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16, Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16, Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16, Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 16
