Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 18
Day 18 of the Shelter in Place Ordinance here in Santa Cruz County was another busy and really fun day. I had a productive morning, where I was glued to the computer in trainings and talking with my clients and doing a bunch of stuff for work.
Today was an exciting day because our listing at 185 Waner Way, in Felton, closed! This was such a fun listing. The home has an amazing spa room with a sauna, so Sarah and I made a Spa Day Home Tour Video! If you currently need a laugh, I highly recommend watching it. I feel so blessed to be able to continue to serve my clients during this time of uncertainty. And I feel so proud of our team being able to adapt and learn how to conduct business with the changes. We were able to get this transaction closed, and I am beyond happy for my clients. And I hope the new owners of this lovely home are enjoying Sheltering in Place with their spa room and sauna!
Later on, it was film day for our upcoming Aptos listing, 159 Via Medici. I have to tell you that video shoots for these properties that I sell are one of my absolute favorite parts of my job. And I am really excited about this new video coming out. So, I will just give you a sneak peek teaser. Think Rainbow Brite. Who was born in the 80s and remembers Rainbow Brite? Well Rainbow Brite just wanted to make everything colorful and beautiful and light. So, I’m gonna have a really fun video for you soon. 159 Via Medici. Stay tuned! After we filmed, we got to work cleaning the home to get it all safe and sterilized so that we can sell it.
Later on, I interview my husband Danny. He is super excited about practicing free throws with Ellia, since he is unable to coach the team at the moment. Ellia is trying to get as close to 100% accuracy as possible with her free throws! So far she’s hit 93%, which is awesome. And her free throws have become Danny’s new sports obsession, since there is a lack of games on at the moment. I hope that you had a great day!
Stay tuned for Day 19 of Sheltering in Place here in Santa Cruz, California!
If you are within the at-risk population, and are in need of essentials during this time, please feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to bring food and supplies to your doorstep. If you are a Santa Cruz business owner, please let me know how the community can support you during this time. I’d love to come by, film, and promote you on social media.
If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.
With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.
If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!

The things we do to sell houses these days. Yes, that looks great. I don’t think I’ll hear you say that though. I’ll hear you say colorful, but not the other part. Okay cool. So you want to do it one more time with that and just walk up and poof. Yeah. Oh my gosh, I just realized that I have not checked in with you all day. I have been glued to the computer in trainings and talking with my clients and doing a bunch of stuff for work. Pshew! Pshew! Pshew! Pshew! So, I miss you. I needed to see you. I hope you’re well. I hope you’re having a fabulous day. I am really excited because I have a new video coming out for a property that I have listed and I have to tell you that video shoots for these properties that I sell are one of my absolute favorite parts of my job. So, I will just give you a sneak peek teaser. Think Rainbow Brite. Who was born in the 80s and remembers Rainbow Brite? Well Rainbow Brite just wanted to make everything colorful and beautiful and light. So, I’m gonna have a really fun video for you soon. Can’t wait to share. Hope you guys are having a great day. 159 Via Medic-a, Medic-e-a, Via Medici. And we are here to photograph and film. and get this all safe and sterilized so that we can sell it. Pshew! Okay hold it. I love the sound effects, I think you should say that every time you do it. Colorful. Ready? Pshew! Col-ah! Pshew! Phsew! Yes! Oh, I missed the yes, shoot! I can do it again. Was doing a little pan up. Color on the stairs, color on the walls. Color. I can’t see the stairs from here. Sorry. Pshew colo-ah! Pshew! Let’s voice. The voiceover and FaceTime. All right. Since we’re not coaching the teams. Ellia and I are trying to become, well, Ellia is trying to become a 100% free thrower. What? No, not 100. Well, as close to 100 as possible. So it’s gone from 57% freethrows made to 67 to 81, yesterday we hit 93. So out of 100 shots, she makes 93 and we are trying to get to 100 just once. No, I told you not to show me. And I think she can do it. I think she can do it too. So that’s my new sports obsession. Can you tell– It’s not the Warriors anymore, it’s– Ellia making 100 shots. That’s your new sports obsession. No, she hasn’t made 100 shots. I know that’s your new sports obsession I’m asking you. Yeah, you just interrupt me. I was just telling you that. I was interviewing you. Oh well, I’ve never seen an interviewer just jump right in the middle of an interview and start asking them the same questions they just asked them again. Well I have another question for you. Anyways. I’m following the reports of Ellia’s shooting. So far we’ve done 10, 12. Mm? How many shots? Mom, don’t show me. How many shots have we 12, 1300 shots so far to get to where we are. And what’s your new professional sport that you like to watch on TV since all the sports are.. Oh here we go, Project Runway. Project Runway’s the new sport. I wonder what they’re gonna make. Maybe Top Chef. Top Chef’s on tonight! Maybe Top Chef. It’s so hard to watch it to because they start at 10, I’m too tired at 10. Although can cooking really be a sport? Sure, why not? It doesn’t seem super athletic. It’s a competition. All right. All right, we’ll take it, we’ll take it cooking. More of you later.
