Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 29

Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 29Day 29 of the Shelter in Place Order was a very productive work day. So much so, that I was tired enough to go to bed at 8:30pm! Since real estate is deemed an essential business here in Santa Cruz, I went to show property to a client. And my gift bag has changed slightly. It used to be filled with chocolates and goodies. And now there’s gloves and booties and face masks. So we’re taking all the proper precautions to keep everybody safe during these times.

One thing that I’m grateful for is when I was driving out here to Watsonville, we went to look at some properties in the Pajaro Dunes Complex, I saw a bunch of farmers working. And so I just wanna say a shout out to all the farmers who are working and continuously providing food for us to eat and also all the grocers and the clerks and everybody who’s continuing to be on the front line. The nurses, the doctors, I could go on and on. Every time I see something like this, it just it brings so much gratitude to the front of my awareness. I’m so grateful for all the people are doing right now. Just my morning thought.

Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 29Today was an exciting day because my brother in law and sister in law got an offer accepted on their dream home in Soquel. It is always such and honor and a privilege to help my clients find their dream home, but helping family members is pretty great. I am beyond stoked for them. And the place is in need of some sweat equity, so I am beyond excited to see what they will end up doing with the place. But getting offers accepted at a time like this, is something that I am extremely grateful for.

Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 29Also, yesterday Danny and Ellia prepared Bolognese, one of Danny’s Secret Family Recipes. It takes a day to make, and it’s better the next day. So we got to try the Bolognese for dinner tonight and it was delicious!! What’s the best thing you’ve cooked? Hope you guys are well.

Stay tuned for the 30th Day of  the Sheltering in Place Order here in Santa Cruz!

Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 29

If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.

With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.

If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!

What did I miss? If you’re running the video tape, the Bolognese, you missed it. No, that was yesterday. Yeah, but we’re eating it now. I know. It’s so good. How is it? Good. Delicious? Awesome. Did you like yesterday’s dinner better than today’s dinner? You don’t wanna hurt my Italian side. Tell the truth through, tell the truth though. Which one’s better? Cioppino. What about when you had Cioppino for lunch today? Um, this was better than the Cioppino for a second day. Oh, yeah, that’s a crapshoot. And the sign fell and it knocked over, all over my room. Did you clean it up? Mm-hm. Have I gone in there yet? Yeah. That’s why Ellia did all the dishes. I know isn’t that sweet. And I did, I did the dishwasher and I folded some laundry and I switched the laundry over. It’s like the groundhog day all over again. That’s dope man. Danny, what did you do today? How was your day? Um … What was your high? My high today? My high was FaceTimeing with Sadie and going on a bike ride with Maya. Oh, I sent Ellia a love message today … You texted her? On her new phone yeah. What did it say? Just like, you know, I’m proud of you and stuff. Oh, you’re so sweet. You know good things, good things. Positive reinforcement stuff. But I didn’t see it. You didn’t see it? Hm-nm. You should look at your phone. It’s not like I’m on my phone like … Well, you should be. It’s not like I’m on my phone? It’s not like I’m on my phone all the time. You should at least get your texts. We just had our morning weekly office meeting via Zoom. Which is very interesting. We had a local attorney on there talking about the SBA loan and the EIDL loan and local businesses and protocol which was very informative. So I thank him very much. We had an update on the loan programs and loans that are available for home buying right now. So mortgage loans and forbearance may effect your credit in the future. So if you want more information on any of those things let me know. And now I’m about to go show property. And my gift bag has changed slightly. It used to be filled with chocolates and goodies. And now there’s gloves and booties and face masks. So we’re taking all the proper precautions to keep everybody safe during these times. Another thing that I’m grateful for is when I was driving out here to Watsonville, we’re gonna go look at some properties in the Pajaro Dunes Complex, I saw a bunch of farmers working. Happy Monday. Hope you guys are well. What have you been up to while I’ve been out? Well I was doing my work and I was FaceTimeing Maya. We’re you guys doing schoolwork together? Yeah. What did you guys learn? We learned about the American Revolution. And we did math together and that’s what we did together. Nice. And now you’re gonna do the laundry? Yeah. Thank you. Just for you. I love you. And I already did all of the dishes like my dad asked. And I already unloaded the dishwasher, Jason. Make something like do, do doooo. What are you looking for? I’m trying to find pictures of me and Sadie for in here. Ah, a little like love collage. Okay let me go look in the bathroom. I know we have it somewhere. Hello Sadie, hello friend. Maybe it’s in your bedroom. I have no idea where it is. I didn’t look very long but I have no idea where it is. All right, my dear friends, as you can see the house is still a mess. But I’m tuckered. It’s been a long day. As you can see. So I’m gonna go to sleep. I hope you guys. As you can see my mom would love to go to sleep at 8:30. Is it only 8:30? Yep. Oh, no, can I go to sleep? I’m so tired. My eyes are like closing. As always, my mom likes to go to sleep at game night. I’m so tired. As always. And then she just likes to watch a movie until like 12 o’clock. I’m so tired. PM, 12 PM. Kay, go put this away. And then I’ll play a game with you on the floor. But you have to go get your dad. Dad doesn’t like to play games. Go, he’s gonna have to. Dad, you have to play a game. But put this all away first. For good content.
