Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 31
After being quarantined for 31 days now, our emotions have been running a little high. Ellia and I are both social creatures and are really missing being able to hangout with our friends right now. And us both being upset about our lack of time with our friends, has made us less patient with each other. So we started the day with a little fight, which never makes me feel good.
But as the day went on, Ellia went on a walk with me on West Cliff, we played basketball, and we sang and danced while doing the dishes. And by the end of the day, Ellia told me that she loved me again and she forgave me for yelling at her. So now my heart is full. How are all you parents out there staying patient during this time? And how are your kids handling this situation? And how are you doing? If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to reach out to me. I know there’s a lot of anxiety and fear being spread currently and I just want you to know that you are not alone.
Ellia is still making face masks for people within the community, so if you are in need of one, let me know and I’ll put an order in with her!
Enjoy your day and stay tuned for the 32nd day of Sheltering in Place!
In an effort to stay connected during this time, I am now offering complimentary, 15 minute, Real Estate or business strategy calls. My office hours for these calls will be between 2-4pm daily. To sign up for a call, please use the Calendly link HERE. I look forward to strategizing with you!
If you are within the at-risk population, and are in need of essentials during this time, or a face mask, please feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to bring food and supplies to your doorstep. If you are a Santa Cruz business owner, please let me know how the community can support you during this time. I’d love to come by, film, and promote you on social media.
If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.
With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.
If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!

Ellia’s pissed at me, rightfully she should be. I just yelled at her ’cause she was trying to do something and it wasn’t what I wanted her to be doing, so I got annoyed and now she’s super grumpy at me. So what do I do? What do I do Ellia? Not go in front of your face? Can I give you a kiss? No. I guess she’s not ready to talk to me. Oof, and I can’t even blame Danny for getting grounds in my coffee. Oh well, I’m gonna drink it anyways. Good morning. Coaching call, hour long. She’s paying the game right now. It’s a great opportunity for you guys right now. Let’s do this. Go take a picture, go take a video. Doing my planning, my 30 day business plan. Getting it done. Well folks, I think we’ve hit our limit. I think we’re having a little bit of an emotional breakdown today. Ellia’s super sad that she can’t see her friends. It’s day 31. That’s a long time when you’re a social butterfly like she is. I feel her pain, I miss my friends too. Ellia do you wanna say anything? You wanna send a message to your friends? No, too sad. Aw honey, she’s so sad. It’s really beautiful out here and it’s really quiet. We’re gonna go deliver a gift to a friend. And maybe we’ll brighten her day, hopefully. The beauty of distance learning is sometimes you get to go for a walk with your daughter while she’s on her class morning call. Hi Ellia. Ellia, you just finished your class? How was it? Good. Have you ever gone for a walk and gone to school at the same time? Is your mom annoying you? Yeah. A lot? That mom of yours. I shouldn’t have came with you. Why? ‘Cause you’re just annoying me. It’s beautiful out. Plus it’s a short day you just had. So beautiful out. Why do you have a bad scowly face? ‘Cause. ‘Cause why? I’m thirsty and you’re like making this so long. Yeah I was going for a walk. Yeah but I have homework to do, I have school work to do right now. Okay well then let’s get you home. Here’s my lunch, I’m working really hard to stay healthy while working from home. And here’s Ellia’s lunch. Ellia, come show us your lunch. Dream and drama juice smoothie. What on top? Whipped cream, that’s the dream into it. All the things that I miss. And her lunch is also very healthy with the whipped cream on top. What is it? It’s orange juice, strawberry, banana, mango. Love it. I’m jamming out while I do the dishes. All chores have to be fun now. They’re otherwise super tedious everyday. We’re jamming out while we’re doing the dishes, otherwise these chores are tedious. What do you have to say? I don’t, I’m not doing the dishes. Oh she’s not doing the dishes, I guess I am. What is that? There’s another one. Another baby? Oh you’re such a good plant mom, Ellia. You’re really the best plant mom ever. What did you just say, Ellia? I love you know. You love me? Like you forgive me? We’re back to good, good old friends? Yeah, because finished Ah! I know, I’ve been working all day, huh?
