Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 32
On Day 32 of the Shelter in Place order in Santa Cruz I am feeling so humbled, hopeful and so much love. I literally, I’m a little teary-eyed. I know that I’ve been talking about being grateful and the outpouring support that our community is bringing forth and it’s just really beautiful to be able to support one another. It’s horrible that a pandemic is what’s causing us to reunite. But talking to so many people every single day and hearing them say the same thing about community bonding, and community awareness, and community support, and being grateful for those that are serving on the front lines, it’s just so humbling. I am just sending so much gratitude and love into the universe.
For dinner, I decided not to cook and instead I ordered it from the Oaxacan Pop-Up, through Santa Cruz Deliveries, I was stoked out of my mind. To be representing and taking care of our local businesses, while also feeding my family. It’s so good. Danny described the food as being, “very deep in flavor,” and Ellia gave it a, “100 out of 10”. Thank you Copal, slash Lupulo, slash Oaxacan Pop up! Our dinner was amazing!
Lupulo Craft Beer House is owned by the same lovely couple as Copal and the Oaxacan Pop-Up. Right now Lupulo is open for curbside pick up and delivery from 12-8pm daily. They have really good beer, wine, and snacks! Copal is going to be a new restaurant opening on Mission Street. And I am super excited about it! They are going to be the only restaurant that serves traditional Oaxacan cuisine with a Mezcal bar in Santa Cruz county. For the current moment, you can support them by ordering a gift card from the Copal website. Then you can use it to treat yourself to a special night out once this is all over. But to get a taste of Oaxaca now, visit the Santa Cruz Deliveries website and order from the Oaxaca Pop-Up! You won’t be disappointed.
Oh, and my daughter, Ellia, is still making face masks for people within the community, so if you are in need of one, let me know and I’ll put an order in with her!
If you wanna talk please, please feel free to reach out to me. Know that you are not alone in this. We got this! You can sign up for a call with me using the Calendly link HERE. I look forward to chatting with you!
Stay well and stay tuned for Day 33 of Sheltering in Place here in Santa Cruz!
If you are within the at-risk population, and are in need of essentials during this time, or a face mask, please feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to bring food and supplies to your doorstep. If you are a Santa Cruz business owner, please let me know how the community can support you during this time. I’d love to come by, film, and promote you on social media.
If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.
With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.
If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!

I know that I’ve been talking about being grateful and the outpouring support that our community is bringing forth and it’s just really beautiful to be able to support one another. And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s horrible that a pandemic is what’s causing us to rebond and reunite. But talking to so many people every single day and hearing them say the same thing about community bonding, and community awareness, and community support, and being grateful for those that are serving on the front lines, it’s just so humbling. I am just sending so much gratitude and love into the universe. If you wanna talk and just have somebody, please, please feel free to reach out to me. All right, hope you guys are well. You eat too? Ever. Ever, what does it look like? What? A what? A turkey vulture. A vulture! It’s 11:30 and we’re out. This is the first time that Ellia has left the house today. Is that crazy or what? We’re gonna go do a couple essentials and then we’re coming home. Yo, dudes. Check this out. I made dinner tonight. Or I ordered it from the Oaxacan Cuisine, Santa Cruz Delivers, stoked out of my mind. To be representing and taking care of our local businesses while also feeding my family. It’s gonna be good. How is it, Danny? Very deep in flavor. Deep in flavor. It is so good. So good? I give it a 100 out of 10. Wow, that’s really high, so far. Thank you Copal, slash Lupulo, slash Oaxacan pop up! This is amazing! Thank you for dinner! So good! So good, thank you. What the heck, did you just sew your finger? Ah, let me look at it. Let me look at it. Oh, let me see. Let me see. Did that go all the way through? You wanna see it, mom? Yeah, show me. Oh, my God, you guys! Ah, ha, ha, ha! Burn!
