Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 37
On Day 37 of Sheltering in Place here in Santa Cruz, I wanted to do something nice for a couple people that I think are a little bit on the low-energy side. So I picked a bouquet of flowers, from my garden, and delivered it to them in the hope that it cheers them up a little bit. But I kind of feel like this is cheating because when I give stuff away, like Claudia said yesterday on my interview with her, it makes me feel good. So it’s like a selfish act, even though technically giving is supposed to be selfless. Do you like surprising people with gifts when they are feeling sad? Do you feel awkward when you are the recipient of a gift?
The day also consisted of getting my nails painted by Ellia. But it was funny because she was painting them under the table, while I worked. Such a sweetheart. Then she discovered that we got some new growth on our basil plant, which we are super excited about! Are you growing anything new during this time?
Later on in the day, Danny, Ellia, and I were able to use the Seabright CrossFit gym, like it was our own private gym. Of course, the gym has been sanitized and sterilized and we were to clean anything that we touched. Thank you, Seabright CrossFit for keeping us healthy and safe. And sane, getting a good workout. We love you, we miss you, we can’t wait to see you. I hope you are all staying happy and healthy.
Stay tuned for Day 38 of Shelter in Place Order here in Santa Cruz!
Oh, and my daughter, Ellia, is still making face masks for people within the community, so if you are in need of one, let me know and I’ll put an order in with her!
If you wanna talk please, please feel free to reach out to me. Know that you are not alone in this. We got this! You can sign up for a call with me using the Calendly link HERE. I look forward to chatting with you!
If you are within the at-risk population, and are in need of essentials during this time, or a face mask, please feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to bring food and supplies to your doorstep. If you are a Santa Cruz business owner, please let me know how the community can support you during this time. I’d love to come by, film, and promote you on social media.
If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.
With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.
If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!

Well, this is hilarious. Ellia is under the table painting my toenails. She said she wanted to do that last night. Thank you, Ellia Mom? Yes? Mom? Yes? Mom? Yes? Mom? What? A third little baby! That’s two right there. I know, that’s what I thought too, it looks like it’s bigger. Don’t touch it so hard. No, it’s two, there’s two. Don’t squish it though. See, now we have four little basil plants. Oh, that’s so cool, I’m so excited. You’re such a good plant mom, Ellia. Mom. Yeah. Take this off. I kind of feel like this is cheating because when I give stuff away like Claudia said yesterday on my interview with her, it makes me feel good. So it’s like a selfish act, even though technically giving is supposed to be selfless. But oh, my god, Beth’s dog pooped in my yard and she didn’t clean it up. I’m gonna yell at her. I’m gonna take a picture of it and send it to her. Anyways, I’m gonna pick a bouquet of flowers for a couple people that I think are a little bit on the low-energy side and hope that it cheers them up a little bit. I’ll be back. I think that’s pretty. I hope that that cheers her up. All right, off to deliver. Hope you guys are well. If you need anything, let me know. Sarah, I washed my hands and now I’m putting on some… hand sanitizer. And now I’m gonna step out of my car. Not sure if you’re gonna recognize where I’m at. But I hope that you do and I hope that, to look outside on your porch. Oh, you have a cute little “Bee Happy”. I think I heard somebody. We’re at the gym, our own private gym. Seabright CrossFit, sterilized, sanitized, and Danny needs to work out, ’cause he said, what’d you say, Danny? What? That you needed to work on your pecs? Oh, I wanna get rid of man boobs. ‘Cause you wanna get rid of your moobs? Ellia is here working out and I’m gonna do a little workout too. Mom, can you help me with something please? What? I know you guys have probably been missing my double-unders. And I haven’t got a new rope yet so here we go. Double-unders with gloves. That was one. Ellia just challenged me, she thinks she can just do ’em super easily. Let’s see, Ellia. Are you sure this one’s the smallest? Well, you have to wipe down whatever you touch. Ow, can I use yours? Mine’s bigger than that one. Well, mine hurts. Just try. Thank you, Seabright CrossFit for keeping us healthy and safe. And sane, getting a good workout. We love you, we miss you, we can’t wait to see you. Ellia just summoned me for dinner and I’m very excited. Oh, wow, that’s beautiful. Little taco bar. Mhm. Oh, and a clean table is something– For taco Tuesday. Nice.
