Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 43
Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 43. And every day of quarantine, I just think, “Is this for real?” It’s hard to conceptualize and it’s a very strange feeling. I mean, I guess it is for real, because we are still at home. So what are you guys doing to stay sane, to stay entertained?
I was thinking of going through each and every one of my closets and drawers, and not just organizing them, but using something that I found in them. We have so many arts and crafts supplies that we never use, because we don’t have time. But now we have all the time in the world, or not really, Danny and I are working a lot and Ellia still has online school. But we do have more time than before. So I think I am going to start doing some art. Have you found and used something from your closet that you completely forgot about?
So, anyway, on Day 43, Danny and my cousin, Kelsey, fixed my closet doors. Yay, for home improvement projects! I’ve broken my closet door multiple times, cause I guess I’ve been a little too aggressive while getting my clothes. Now my closet doors open smoothly and even have a little bounce to it! I am so excited.
Ellia loves cooking and decided to make us a delicious dinner, all by herself. She made us scallops with white wine, tomato, green onion, and caper sauce. It was absolutely delicious, she did a fantastic job.
Today I passed my 4th brokers exam, so now I only have one more to pass before I can take the state exam. Woohoo! That being said, in an effort to continuously grow and expand my business, if you or anybody that you know is in need of real estate services, I’m here to help! Shemeika Fox, your Santa Cruz real estate expert!

If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.
With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.
If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!
