Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 44

Something that was making me really happy on Day 44 of Sheltering in Place here in Santa Cruz is Ellia’s little garden. Ellia’s seeds are starting to sprout up and grow in the garden box in our kitchen. And I love looking at my orchid behind them. It’s beautiful. What is something that you are finding joy in during the Shelter in Place?

Today Danny and Kelsey were working to build our family couch. And we took a family lunch break and had some amazing langoustine, lobster pasta, that Danny made. We ate together in our backyard and it felt like a nice little Italian vacation. Have you been eating meals outside, since it’s been so nice out?

Later, on a walk I found a tiny treasure. Someone had written the word “hope” out in rocks, in their garden. It made me so happy. Then I made it out to West Cliff in Santa Cruz, where it was a little bit windy but so nice out. Walking to the beach was my reward for the day, since I cleaned my house earlier.

I also on Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 44 went into my recording studio, which I haven’t been in for awhile, since I’ve been recording all these candid daily vlogs. Which has been a lot of fun. But I realized that I needed to stay educated and also continue to provide valuable information about the Santa Cruz and national real estate markets. So I shot a couple of videos about the April real estate market that will be coming out shortly, stay tuned for those! And stay tuned for a home buyer seminar!

If you are currently wondering what the Santa Cruz Housing Market is doing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. But on March 28th, President Trump updated the essential business list and added Residential Real Estate. Meaning, that Realtors are allowed to continue working, while exercising extreme precautions, as mandated by the CDC.

With that being said, if you are currently looking to Buy a Santa Cruz Home, I would love to assist you in your Santa Cruz Home Search. There is not the usual amount of inventory as we normally see at this time, but mortgage rates are historically low. Now may be a great time to buy, as long as you’re willing to be patient for your dream home to come onto the market.

If you are currently thinking about Selling Your Santa Cruz Home, now may be a great time to put your home on the market. With inventory being low, the demand increases. Meaning, that some homes are seeing multiple offers and bid wars. I’d love to schedule a complimentary and confidential consultation with you to see how Fox Realty Group INC. can creatively market your home!
