Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 7
First weekend of the Shelter in Place Ordinance here in Santa Cruz. On Day 7, Danny made us a tasty meal of beef and tomatoes with cheddar, polenta and roaster broccoli, Ellia spruced up our bunny, Buddha’s, home with some succulent decoration and art, we had a competition to see who could make pivotal shot from behind the car into a basket on the lawn, ’cause we don’t yet have our basketball hoop, Danny and I FaceTimed some friends, and we watched This is Us! Which, if you haven’t watched that show, you should. It brought tears to my eyes!
What shows have you been watching during the #shelterinplace? How else are you staying sane during #selfquarantine? I’d love some recommendations.
Also, I was reading some articles this morning from the Mortgage Professional America saying that Bank of America plans to provide mortgage relief amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. According to the article, “Clients can also request to defer payments on deposit accounts, credit cards, and small business and auto loans. Customers who wish to request loan payment deferments can call the bank’s client services number to discuss their hardships.”

So here’s the deal, yeah I’m still in my pajamas, and yeah it’s Sunday, and probably 2 O’clock, I don’t even know. But, we are trying to make a secret, pivotal shot from behind the car into that basket on the lawn, ’cause we don’t yet have our basketball hoop, and we’re playing Horse, and nobody’s made it yet. Well, it’s not quite 4 O’clock, and I just kicked my family’s ass at bucket game with the tennis balls, and then I had to go take a shower and get changed from my day-time pajamas to my night-time pajamas. Happy Caturday! Hope you guys are surviving.
Danny’s been slaving over this meal since yesterday. Woo! What’d you make for us? Got beef and tomatoes with cheddar, polenta. Damn. And roasted broccoli. That’s amazing, I’m super excited. With lemon. Ellia, what do you think of dad’s dinner? Thumbs up? Zoom in. As you can see, we didn’t like that at all. And… Yum. Tomatoes and cheddar.
I’m not, I only have your face anyways, Ellia, show me what you made. Oh my God, that’s like the cutest little bunny house I’ve ever seen, and now it’s got little decor on the outside. Aww, I love it
Well, don’t you, don’t you think that– Don’t you- Where’d Latrice go? Don’t you think that we should, oh wait I have to do it like this. Don’t you– Are you videoing us? Yeah, we’re videoing right now. Oh, don’t you scene for Cavasia right now, this is like the new gold chain. Latrice, Latrice, we’re gonna make the video. Don’t you think that… Oh my God, look at that toilet paper, it’s like the size for a giant. That’s mine! You drank out of mine, you dirty mother Ahh! You drank out of mine! Yep, those are tears in my eyes.
