Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 71
This past Monday was Day 71 of the Shelter in Place order here in Santa Cruz, but it was also Memorial Day. And I was super happy because one of my clients left me a gorgeous jar of honey from a bee hive over on Market Street. Thanks for the local honey, Jeff!
I was also happy because it incredibly beautiful out in Santa Cruz on Monday. I sat outside with a tropical smoothie and it felt like I was on vacation. Speaking of vacation, where’s the first place that you are going to go on vacation after we are able to travel again?
Later we got to meet Ellia’s friends new bunny! It was so tiny and the cutest bunny that I’ve ever seen. How many of you have adopted an animal during the Shelter in Place? If you have, what kind of animal did you adopt?
And our Memorial Day dinner was the last meal that we got to have with my Prima before she goes to stay with my Grandma in Ukiah. We made a delicious dinner with produce that I got at that cute farm stand. How was your Memorial Day? What was the best thing that you did over the holiday weekend?

Real Estate Update Time: We’ve seen quite a few new listings come on the market this week. We are about 2.7 months of absorption rate. Which means that it would take 2.7 months for all of the inventory that’s on the market right now, to sell. So, that’s still considered a seller’s market. But despite all that, my client who owns 4300 Soquel Drive #226 is wanting to sell now! And we’ve reduced that property to $379,000, which is a really good deal. It’s in Alimur Park, which is a resident owned park, and the home is absolutely stunning with high ceilings, and it’s light and bright.
