Santa Cruz Shelter in Place 2020: Day 72
This past Tuesday was Day 72 of the Shelter in Place here in Santa Cruz. And I drove my Prima up north to stay with our Grandma. She’s 101 years-old and loves Lee, so it’ll be perfect for my Grandma to have her favorite company. We had to drive all with masks on, and I was feeling a little extra grateful for air conditioning, since it was 100 degrees outside.
Once we got to my Grandma’s house, my Mom gave us a tour of her garden. All of which, she planted from seeds. She grew some zinnias, marigolds, beets, and tons more. It was cool to see everything that she’s been able to grow during this time. And she sent us our seeds awhile back and we hope that our plants grow as well as hers have.
It was really nice to be able to go visit my Mom and my Grandma for the afternoon. Since I have been Sheltering in Place for so long, going up to Ukiah felt like such a luxurious vacation. Where’s the first place that you are going to take a trip to after the Shelter in Place is lifted?

Real Estate Update Time: We’ve seen quite a few new listings come on the market this week. We are about 2.7 months of absorption rate. Which means that it would take 2.7 months for all of the inventory that’s on the market right now, to sell. So, that’s still considered a seller’s market. But despite all that, my client who owns 4300 Soquel Drive #226 is wanting to sell now! And we’ve reduced that property to $379,000, which is a really good deal. It’s in Alimur Park, which is a resident owned park, and the home is absolutely stunning with high ceilings, and it’s light and bright.
